Noise limits for outboard accordance with EU directive 2003/44/EC on noise and exhaust emission limits is in force. Ban of using seatoilets within 12 mm according the Baltic Convention.
Poland – Drivers Licences
Skipper of a boat (sailboat, motorboat or PWC) must be at least 14 years old. Inland Skipper Certificate of Competency (sailboat or motorboat) gives right to drive yachts or motorboats in inland waterways and the boats length up to 12 m on internal sea waters and other marine waters in a zone up to 2 nautical miles from shore in the daytime. (Persons under the age of 16 may exercise their permissions on motorboats with an engine power up to 60 kW) Marine Skipper Certificate of Competency (sailbot or motorboat) gives right to drive yachts or motorboats length up to 18 m on marine waters. Captain’s Certificate of Competency (sailboat or motorboat) gives right to drive yachts or motorboats in inland waterways and on marine waters. No driving license is required for: – driving sailboats lenght up 7,5 m (which may be equipped with an auxiliary mechanical driving gear) – driving motorboats up to 10 kW – practicing water tourism on motorboats with an engine power up to 75 kW with a hull length up to 13 m , where the maximum speed is structurally limited to 15 km / h

Poland – Safety Equipment
Life jackets must be kept on board all ships in sufficient numbers for all persons on board. In addition, the obligation to have lifebuoys and appropriate fire extinguishers in the number specified depending on its size, purpose , power, propulsion machinery and equipment posing a fire hazard.

There is no duty to registration inland sailboats length up to 12 m or inland motorboats with engine power of 15 kW and the units powered solely by human muscle used exclusively for sport or recreation. Vessels exempted from registration may be registered at the request of the owner.
