In the first conference of its kind, ICOMIA’s 1st International Hybrid Marine Propulsion Conference, held Monday 14 November 2011, reviewed the technical issues surrounding the design and implementation of marine hybrids and provided objective data on their advantages and disadvantages. A year on, ICOMIA is issuing the presentations made at the Conference for FREE! Drawing heavily on information from the collaborative research HYMAR project, which is led by ICOMIA and funded under the EU`s Seventh Framework Research Programme, ICOMIA’s 1st International Hybrid Marine Propulsion Conference provided objective data and outlined state of the art marine hybrid systems.
