Description

Chromium VI (Hexavalent chromium) compounds in primers and coatings have been used in the Marine Industry (Shipyards), Super Yacht and Yachting Industry for decades and have in the past proven to be outstanding corrosion blockers and provide excellent adhesion to various substrates.

Due to its toxicity and carcinogenic properties, Chromium VI will be banned in 2024. All chromium VI (Hexavalent chromium) compounds are classified as a Group 1 carcinogen by the IARC, meaning they are carcinogenic to humans.
