Successful ICOMIA/IFBSO Congress held in Chicago

The 2010 ICOMIA/IFBSO Congress at the Drake Hotel in Chicago drew to a close on Saturday, 12 June after four intense days of committee meetings, joint and working sessions as well as a variety of social activities. The Congress was well attended by ICOMIA national marine industry associations and IFBSO boat show organisers, representing a total of 23 boating nations. At the ICOMIA AGM, President Thom Dammrich (NMMA) stepped down from his post and was succeeded by Lorenzo Selva (UCINA). Peter Methven OBE (BMF) was re-elected as Vice President and Erlend Prytz (NORBOAT) was elected as 2nd Vice President. The 2011 ICOMIA/IFBSO Congress will be held in the Netherlands hosted by HISWA and Amsterdam RAI.
