The ICOMIA team have spent this week in Singapore at the South East Asia Yachting Conference (SEAYC).
The conference was held as part of the Singapore Yachting Festival and both Joe Lynch, ICOMIA CEO and Su Lin Cheah, ICOMIA Asia Pacific Representative attended the conference. Joe was invited to host a debate about the impact of new technology and he gave an update on the latest developments and global reach of the Propelling our Future campaign. Joe also had a number of live discussions about what is next for yachting development in SE Asia and the rise of alternative and sustainable fuels.
The duo took the time to host an Asia Working Group Committee meeting and they received a warm welcome from ICOMIA MIA Singapore Boating Industry Association at an informal get-together at ONE15 Marina Sentosa Cove, Singapore.
Hosted by SBIA Chair YP Loke with ICOMIA Board Member Arthur Tay in attendance, Joe Lynch ICOMIA CEO and Su Lin Cheah ICOMIA Asia Pacific Representative engaged with SBIA Members on ICOMIA’s global and regional work, and also discussed areas of concern relating to the development of boating and the business environment in Singapore.
