ICOMIA at Sydney International Boat Show

by

ICOMIA was delighted to be asked to get involved in various seminars and workshops at this year’s Sydney International Boat Show.

Seminars covered topics such as sustainability and the development of international safety standards, and Joe Lynch, ICOMIA CEO was asked to present the key note speech.

As the show wraps up for another year, it’s a great opportunity to reflect on how events like this play such an important part in the promotion and development of recreational boating.

For boaters already actively involved it is a great way to see the full spectrum of boats, equipment, support services that our industry has to offer. A chance to touch, try and understand the latest innovations, to upgrade or replace equipment, or to seek specialist advice.  Events such as this create the perfect environment for the entire boating community to catch up with friends old and new, to plan new adventures together and to reminisce past trials and tribulations.

For those of us working in the trade, these events are the ideal networking opportunities when we can meet and share insights, information and ideas and to work together to make a better future for customers and suppliers alike.

ICOMIA thanks Ocean Magazine and The Boat Princess for organising great networking events and most importantly a big thank you to Boating Industry Australia (BIA) for their generous support and for hosting our attendance.
